One of my first experiments with resin casting.

The head, like many of my resource pieces, comes from a landfill behind a 19th Century German porcelain factory. If you ever need 150-year-old broken German tchotchkes, well, I know a guy.

One of the new crafts that I took up during 2020 was resin casting. I enjoy using vintage and antique pieces in my works, but at the same time the conservationist in me doesn't want to use a one-of-a-kind object as just another material. Resin casting solves the problem by making copies of these unique pieces.
