Marie came from Prague, in the then-recent country of the Czech Republic. My father was there on a film shoot and brought her home as a souvenir. She's somehow survived innumerable moves since with only a little craquelure.
Aw yeah, putting that art college vocabulary to use.

One of the new crafts that I took up during 2020 was resin casting. I enjoy using vintage and antique pieces in my works, but at the same time the conservationist in me doesn't want to use a one-of-a-kind object as just another material. Resin casting solves the problem by making copies of these unique pieces.
